Mental Stability At An All Time Low Cost

Cognitive Therapy is said to treat most mental illnesses quickly and cheaply. According to CNN Money, you can cure “anxiety, depression, low self-esteem – in three or four months for about $320.” That sounds like a good idea to me.
The article goes on to say that even those with severe, chronic diseases can have their symptoms reduced by treatment -which means if you take medication and cognitive therapy, you can feel pretty much normal. If you’re like me, with severe depression problems, it’s definitely something worth looking into.
The basic concept of cognitive therapy is to learn the tools to quickly and efficiently deal with your own mental illness without the use of a psychiatrist. Exercises include breathing, writing and other coping mechanisms to help you work through your issues as they arise.
If it saves me money while keeping my sanity, I’m all for it. Has anyone tried this method?
