    The New York Times Has an Article Featuring 31 places to go for a good low cost vacation this summer. Most of them are great, however, as much as I love San Francisco, I don’t think it’s a good place to go to save money. I will offer up some reviews of cheap places in the city to visit later on, but over all, it’s just expensive.

    Las Vegas is burningLas Vegas is one of the best suggestions on their list, as if you choose to stay in a hotel by Freemont Street, it’s close to the strip and very inexpensive. Plus, it’s one of the only places in the world you can get free drinks for spending an hour at a penny poker machine. More tips on Vegas will be surely posted here in the future.     Cool offMSN has a great article with 25 cheap ways to stay cool this summer. If you’re don’t even have air conditioning, try this article on staying cool with out one.

    The best tip you can gain from these articles is to get some fans! Fans are a cheap way to feel cooler, and if you put a bowl of ice in front of them, it’s even better. Even if you have an A/C, buy a darn fan!
